How I’ve Used The Epiphany Bridge Story [Personal Example]

“There I was, a bankrupt realtor sleeping on grandma’s living room floor trying to just make enough money to survive.

The thing is, at the time I was trying to find new prospects to sell my services to.

The Big Problem

The big problem was that I wasn’t making any money and I was bleeding cash. That meant I realized I had to start making money or my life was about to get even worse, which if I didn’t fix this I was going to have to go find some crap job and kill my dreams forever.

Then, as if by chance, something amazing happened…I realized the key to my success was that I had to get really good at sales copy really fast by using the right words to make people buy!

Instantly it became crystal clear to me how to use specific blueprints and scripts to create sales messages that worked online or offline because I saw I could just plug my message into these blueprints and structures to create my own sales copy.

The Plan

My plan was to start by converting my 40-page website down to a one-page long-form website.

So I started surfing the Net and looking for ways to make money online by selling products and services that didn’t require me to physically be present. But I didn’t stop there.

What I Did Next…I then started to study and model after successful online businesses that used highly persuasive sales copy to sell their products and services 24/7…

(Example #1: Each new funnel we created took between 6 to 8 weeks to create, on average. We had a team of 8 full-time people including designers, programmers, and copywriters just to get one funnel live. We had to glue together about 13 different products just to create one funnel. On average, our costs to get one funnel live were about $30,000, and then only about 1 out of 10 would actually recoup that money. It took a lot of time and money to find another winning funnel.)

(Example #2: Every time we wanted to sell a house we had to start over from scratch. Plus, a lot of people either weren’t home when we called or it took too long for them to get the flyer we sent them about the property. Plus, asking people individually by phone if they knew someone who wanted to buy a house was very time-consuming. So even though it was effective at getting houses sold, it was eating up 10-12 hours a day every time we had a new house to sell.)
